Accounts & Office Manager – Finglas - €35,000 - €50,000 DOE
This established family-owned business based just off the M50 is looking for an experienced bookkeeper & office manager to join their team. They have very low staff turnover. The reason for the vacancy is that someone is retiring! A small but perfectly formed company of about 15 staff where everyone helps out and they understand the value of family. They have core hours, but the rest is flexible to allow for school drops offs & pickups.
Responsibilities
- Accounts payable – raising purchase orders, checking VAT codes, dealing with invoice queries, and reconciling
- Creditors – checking goods in, reconciling month-end statements, setting up accounts
- Banking – posting payments, reconciling all accounts, point of contact for all on-line banking
- VAT – working with ROS preparing & submitting returns, reconciliations
- Payroll – dealing with PAYE, P30’s and P35’s
- Credit control – responsible for all invoice & payment follow up, keeping aged debtors in check, issuing pro-forma invoices
- Office duties – helping with deliveries, reception and general administration
Requirements
- Experienced bookkeeper
- Excellent communicator
- Good team player
- Living locally would be advantageous as they are looking for someone happy to go into the office five days a week
Remuneration
- €35,000 - €50,000 depending on experience, flexible hours
